WUA is an independent, non-profit higher education institution in Africa founded in 2020, with the mission of providing quality education to women, and creating a level playing field for them to reach their full potential.
WUA offers an array of courses and learning opportunities, ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to short courses and diplomas. WUA’s academic programs are designed to help women gain knowledge and skills that are necessary for them to thrive and succeed in their professional, personal, and civic lives.
The university currently offers a range of degree programs in the fields of Business and Management, Education, Law, Health Sciences, and Technology. WUA also has a strong emphasis on practical, applied learning, with students participating in internships and other experiential learning opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
As part of its commitment to promoting gender equality, WUA is offering scholarships to women who want to pursue higher education but may not be able to afford it. These scholarships will cover tuition fees, accommodation, and other related expenses.
WUA also has a strong emphasis on social responsibility and community service, encouraging students to be actively involved in their communities, to take part in volunteering activities, and to become agents of positive change.
To apply, applicants must submit their application forms, along with transcripts and other supporting documents, to the Admissions Office. Prospective students will be assessed based on their academic qualifications, personal achievements, and career goals.
