Uz 2022 Graduation:
The University of Zimbabwe (UZ) is preparing for its graduating class of 2022. This year marks the first year of the new UZ strategic plan, which seeks to transform the university into a world-class institution of higher education. The university has made significant strides in recent years and is now ready to send out its most educated and successful class into the world.
The UZ 2022 graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, 28th August 2022, at the UZ Great Hall. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 am and will be a celebration of the achievements of the graduates. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Levi Nyagura, will lead the ceremony and will be joined by other dignitaries including the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Minister of State for Higher Education.
The ceremony will include an address from the Vice-Chancellor, followed by the awarding of degrees and awards to each graduate. This will be followed by a procession, with the graduates wearing their formal graduation attire. The procession will end with a graduation march around the Great Hall, and the graduates will be presented with their degrees as they march.
At the end of the ceremony, the graduates will be presented with a memento to commemorate their achievement. This year, the University is offering a new graduation pin, which will be given to each graduate. This pin will feature the university’s symbol and the words “UZ 2022 Graduate”.
The UZ 2022 graduation ceremony will be an important milestone for the university and for the graduates. It will be a celebration of the hard work and dedication of the students and staff who have helped to make the university what it is today. We wish all the graduates the very best of luck in their future endeavors.
