Uz Block Release Programmes 2022 has been announced by the Department of Higher Education and Training in South Africa. The block release programme is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain skills and qualifications that are valuable in the workplace.

The block release programme is an annual programme that offers learners the opportunity to complete their studies and gain a nationally recognised qualification in one year. The programme has been designed to give learners a greater chance of success in their studies, as well as providing employers with access to a highly skilled workforce.

The programme allows learners to complete their studies in a single year, rather than having to commit to a two or three year study period. This will allow learners to complete their studies quickly and gain the qualifications they need to progress in their chosen careers.

The block release programme is open to both South African and international students. It is open to students with a Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate or a National Certificate (Vocational).

The programme is divided into two blocks, each lasting six months. During the first block, learners will attend a campus-based learning centre and complete their studies in the classroom. During the second block, they will complete their studies online.

The programme is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive education experience. It covers a wide range of topics, including business, accounting, finance, economics, law, marketing and management. Learners will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in areas such as communication and problem solving.

The block release programme is also designed to provide learners with the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships. During the internship period, learners will be able to gain valuable experience working in a real-world setting, enabling them to apply the knowledge and skills learnt in the classroom to a real-life context.

The block release programme is open to those who are 18 years and over and who have achieved a minimum of 50% in their senior certificate or National Senior Certificate. For international students, the minimum requirement is a B2 English level.

The block release programme is a great opportunity for learners to gain qualifications in a short amount of time. It offers an excellent opportunity for those who have not been able to commit to a more traditional study path. It also provides employers with access to a highly skilled workforce.
