The University of Zimbabwe (UZ) is set to hold its 2022 graduation ceremonies on Friday, December 10th and Saturday, December 11th. The university has announced that the ceremony will be held at the Zvishavane Campus.
The University of Zimbabwe is the country’s oldest and most prestigious higher education institution, having provided quality education for more than sixty years. The graduation ceremonies are a time-honoured tradition that signify the end of one’s journey as a student and the beginning of a successful career.
This year’s ceremonies will be different than in previous years due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. In order to reduce the risk of transmission, the university has decided to hold the ceremonies outdoors. Furthermore, the number of guests that are permitted to attend will be limited and subject to health and safety regulations.
The university has asked all graduates to register for their ceremony before the deadline of October 15th. The registration form is available on the university’s website.
In addition to the ceremony itself, the university will also be hosting several pre-graduation events. These include a formal dinner, a graduation luncheon, and a graduation ball. The university has asked all graduates to register for these events, as well as their ceremony, before the deadline.
The university has also announced that it will be providing every graduate with a special graduation package. The package will include a diploma folder, a certificate, a special edition t-shirt, and a special edition hoodie.
