Harare Polytechnic has opened its applications for 2022, with a range of courses on offer for prospective students. The Polytechnic offers a range of courses in a variety of disciplines, all designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to succeed in their chosen career paths. The courses are offered at seven faculties, namely, Business and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Information Technology, Hospitality and Tourism, Health Sciences, Education, and Media and Journalism.
Business and Applied Sciences
The Business and Applied Sciences faculty offers courses in accounting, banking, finance, business management, human resources management, and marketing. Students can also pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a Master’s degree in Business Leadership and Management.
Engineering and Applied Sciences
The faculty of engineering and applied sciences offers courses in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and computer engineering. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a Master of Science degree in engineering.
Information Technology
The Information Technology faculty offers courses in computer science, information systems, software engineering, and network engineering. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology or a Master of Science degree in information systems.
Hospitality and Tourism
The faculty of hospitality and tourism offers courses in hospitality management, tourism management, and hotel management. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality or a Master of Science degree in hospitality and tourism.
Health Sciences
The Health Sciences faculty offers courses in nursing, midwifery, medical laboratory technology, and pharmacy. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences or a Master of Science degree in health sciences.
Education
The faculty of education offers courses in primary education, secondary education, and special education. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Education degree or a Master of Education degree.
Media and Journalism
The faculty of media and journalism offers courses in media studies, journalism, and photography. Students can also pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in media and journalism or a Master of Arts degree in media and journalism.
