Great Zimbabwe University Fees 2022
The Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) is a public university located in the city of Masvingo, Zimbabwe. Established in 1975, the university’s main campus is located in the city, with satellite campuses in Bulawayo and Mutare. The university is one of Zimbabwe’s leading academic institutions and is home to over 5,000 students.
GZU’s fees for 2022 have been announced and they are as follows:
Undergraduate Courses – ZWL 6,000 to ZWL 19,500 per semester
Graduate Courses – ZWL 8,000 to ZWL 25,000 per semester
The fees for each course vary depending on the type of course and the duration of the course. In addition to these fees, students are required to pay an additional fee of ZWL 1,500 for registration and ZWL 1,500 for examinations.
In addition to tuition fees, students are also required to pay a library fee of ZWL 500 per semester, as well as a laboratory fee of ZWL 500 per semester. Other fees include a student union fee of ZWL 500, a medical fee of ZWL 500 and a sports fee of ZWL 500 per semester.
It is important to note that the fees listed above do not include accommodation, transport and other living costs. Students who wish to live on campus are required to pay accommodation fees of ZWL 2,000 per semester.
GZU provides a range of scholarships for students to assist with the cost of tuition fees. These scholarships are available to both undergraduate and graduate students, and are awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
To apply for a scholarship, students must submit an application form, along with supporting documents such as transcripts and a financial declaration. Scholarships are awarded on a semester-by-semester basis and are subject to review each semester.
