Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia’s leading university, has opened the registration for its Masters Program for the 2022/23 academic year. The university offers a wide range of graduate programs in various disciplines, including business and economics, science and technology, social sciences and humanities.
To apply for the Masters Program, students must have completed their bachelors degree with at least a 2.5 CGPA from an accredited higher learning institution. The university also requires students to submit three letters of recommendation from former professors, supervisors or employers. Applicants must also submit a statement of purpose outlining their academic and professional aspirations.
The application fee for the Masters Program is 5,000 Ethiopian birr (approximately $150). The fee is non-refundable and must be paid before the submission of the application. Applicants must also provide evidence of their English proficiency by submitting their IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Once the application is submitted, the university will review the documents and contact eligible applicants for an interview. During the interview, applicants will be required to discuss their academic interests and career goals. The university will then make a decision on the admission of the applicant.
Once accepted, students will be required to pay a registration fee of 10,000 Ethiopian birr (approximately $300). The fee covers the cost of tuition and other associated fees for the duration of the program.
